Choosing a coach should be like choosing a friend. You don’t become friends with someone lightly. You look for people who will understand you and support you.
You look for people who are going to be good for you and share the common ground.
I don’t have a degree in psychology and I haven’t studied human behaviour at university. But I do have real life experience and that means I can share your common ground.
So let me tell you a little about me...
I was married at age 23, a business owner at 24, a father at 29 and again at 31.
I lost my sister when I was 20 and she was just 22. I was once married, for 11 years, but now I am divorced – with two beautiful daughters.
I've been an employee, an employer and a partner in a large accounting firm, all by the age of 32. I was an executive at IBM, the biggest global company in the world and I have been made redundant twice. I have hired and fired and unfortunately along the way I have made some employees redundant too.
I have had some incredible career highs and some significant lows. In business I have started companies from nothing, built them, merged them and sold them. I was part of the corporate turnaround of a publicly listed company and I have experienced a company takeover first-hand. I sit on the board of a not-for-profit company as a director.
I've experienced birth, death, tragedy, illness, divorce, financial loss and unemployment. Learning about people through real life experiences is why I coach and mentor people.
My sessions are one to one, intimate, effective and I know that when people work together they can achieve amazing results.
So, let’s talk about you.
